The doctrine of baptisms (washings) is a foundational doctrine; we teach on all the baptisms including the baptism of fire. In Jesus time there were countless pools for purification and we see the remains of hundreds today, Jesus sent the blind man to fully immerse in the pool of Siloam after he put mud in his eyes (see video below). Jesus healed the blind and paralytic man in Jerusalem where there were waters. Isaac, Jacob and Moses both met their wife's in connection with wells of waters. Jesus met the Samaritan woman by a well of water. We are sanctified made Holy by the washing of water through the word. Ephesians 5:26 Come and drink! Listen to the first audio and watch the video.
